This painting was commissioned by the Portland Symphony Orchestra to celebrate the inauguration of their new music director, Robert Moody. It was used to create a commemorative poster, and the original painting was auctioned at the spring 2009 PSO fundraiser. It is now in a private collection , having raised $3500 to benefit the PSO and its programs.
